What Can I Expect During My Morpheus8 Treatment?
We will start with an anesthetic cream to ensure you’re comfortable during the treatment. Patients don’t describe the Morpheus8 procedure to be painful, but as the needles pass over your skin, you may feel a slight prickling sensation followed by a feeling of warmth.
During your treatment, the Morpheus8 handpiece is passed over the skin in the targeted treatment area, emitting RF energy to heat the underlying layer of skin as the 24 silicone-coated pins create micro-injuries. Once this step is complete, we will apply active topical ingredients to be deeply absorbed by the skin, providing an increased benefit.
Expect your Morpheus8 treatment to take up to one hour. We recommend 2-3 sessions of Morpheus8, done 4-6 weeks apart, to achieve the most ideal results, although patients’ needs will vary.
